Most people who know me realize that I love music. I previously wrote a blog about my saxophone and marching band days. However, I never did mention that I also love to sing.
My love for singing started at a very young age. I sang solos at my local church and even at church camp in front of hundreds of people.
I was a member of my elementary and middle school choir but decided to dedicate my time and efforts to marching band once I reached high school.
In more recent years, I have been a soloist, choir member, and praise team member at my local assembly. I have also had the honor of singing at a public concert/worship experience called “The Undignified Event” which took place at the The Columbus Commons in 2013 and 2015.
Most of all though, I love jamming to my music while in my car and while editing photo sessions. Music can bring joy and peace in troubled times. On several occasions the lyrics of a song have encouraged me to keep going. Songs have a beautiful way of bringing tears, laughter, and inspiration in every stage of life.
