Brittney & Vince | Wedding Photography | Columbus Ohio Photographer
Brittney & Vince were married at the beautiful St Charles Chapel in Columbus, Ohio and their reception took place at the Franklin Park Conservatory.
This is the last week for the alphabet challenge. As you might think, it was a little difficult to come up with something that started with the letter “Z”. My options were my zoo pass (which I didn’t really want to share with the entire internet world) and my zoom lens. So, here is a photo of my 70-200 zoom lens (which I love).
Two weeks ago, my dream came true and I finally had the opportunity to visit Tupelo Children’s Mansion in Tupelo, Mississippi. My husband and I drove there after an event outside Nashville, Tennessee in early August.
When Joyful Moments Photography first began, it existed as a non-profit organization through my local church and all the proceeds benefited Tupelo Children’s Mansion. Now that we are an officially licensed business in Ohio, a portion of the proceeds still go toward this amazing cause. Since 2015, the clients of Joyful Moments Photography have helped raise thousands of dollars for the children of Tupelo Children’s Mansion.
During our visit, we toured the 40+ acre grounds, the beautiful facilities, the spacious girls and boys homes, and saw their goals for future renovations. Some highlights of the trip included speaking with Stephen (president/CEO) and Erma (executive director) Judd, getting to know the wonderful staff, as well as meeting the young girl we sponsor!
Tupelo Children’s Mansion has had a place in our hearts for many years. It was a dream come true to visit this wonderful source of hope for dozens of children.

What is a mini session and why should I book one?
Mini sessions are typically offered by photographers several times through out the year. From a photographer’s perspective, they are a great way to do several sessions in one weekend during a busy season. There are only so many weekends in October during peak fall foliage and fall is the most popular time to have photos taken. So, mini sessions allow many families to book a session all in the same day thus allowing more people an opportunity to be photographed. From a client’s perspective, mini sessions are also a great way to save money. If you don’t need a long session and you really only want a few good photos to remember this stage in your family or child’s life, mini sessions are the perfect option. Mini sessions typically range in length from 15 minutes to 30 minutes and include any where from five to fifteen images. This year, my fall mini sessions are 20 minutes long and include 10 images. Mini sessions will take place at Red Trabue Nature Preserve in Dublin Ohio.
I am now booking fall mini sessions and I would love the opportunity to photograph you, your family, or your little one. See the flyer below for more details.
This Thursday, August 11, 2016 my husband and I will celebrate four years of marriage. We were married after dating for 7 1/2 years. Each year, we have a tradition of taking anniversary photos. My dad took the photos for the first, second, and fourth years with my camera and I edited them (you can see the improvements in my editing throughout the years). The third year photos were taken by Teresa Gellenbeck of LeenaBee Photography. Below I have included a photo from our wedding and one from each anniversary session. I am looking forward to many more years with the love of my life.
It so hard to believe that this little guy, who I photographed just a few days after birth, is already 6 months old. He still likes tummy time, can now sit up on his own, and can even stand when mommy or daddy holds his hands. He was very distracted by the world around him but boy did he give me some cute faces. His milestone photo session took place at Homestead Park in Hilliard, Ohio.
